Sponsoring an H-1B visa directly benefits employers by securing your legal work authorization. While the PERM green card process takes time, it helps employers retain key talent long-term. You can explain: H-1B has a maximum 6-year limit, but starting PERM early allows unlimited H-1B extensions. The cost to employers is reasonable (mostly attorney fees and advertising costs). If you already have F-1 OPT or O-1 status, you can start PERM immediately upon joining, no need to wait for H-1B selection.
